Our Charter High School has a high academic focus, but this is not the extent of Marion Military Academy 's cadet life. Our military academic program and JROTC athletics help to develop camaraderie, friendships, and leadership that is truly a unique environment for encouraging teamwork.
Our small school structure enables our cadets to truly get-to-know one another. This environment helps to reduce the negative effects of poverty on student achievements as well as reducing the violence now commonly found in the public school systems.
Each school day begins with morning formation that is lead by the Cadet Leadership Team. The formation is separated into Companies. Cadets participate in morning formation as a symbol of pride and culture of excellence. It helps to motivate and get prepared for a day of learning.
Each cadet volunteers a minimum of 70 hours over the course of their 4 years to help our community with tasks such as disaster relief, 5K runs, performing for Veterans and so much more. Our cadets enjoy the time they spend with each other helping the community.
